GENERAL MEETING NOTES
January 11, 2005
Music Booster Meeting:
Citrus Sale: Our sales were half of what they were last year. There were reports of 4-5 boxes of spoiled fruit. These people will receive a box of free fruit next year if they order fruit. The possibility of switching vendors and selling at a different time of year was discussed.
Choir: (Betty Belding) They had a trip to Chicago with 58 students. A concert with another High School, and other fun activities were planned. Feb. 26th is their fundraiser called "Singsensational". It is a concert with a dance. In April is a Choral Gala, with FHN and FHE. It is a workshop with a local professor and a concert.
Instrument Repair: (John DeStefano) Six keyboards are broken and need to be repaired. The cost will come from the 3 music dept. since all three use the keyboards. Discussed how we can prevent damage from happening again. Most of the keyboards are kept in locked practice rooms. Ideas were to lock the keyboard itself, or keeping a roster of who uses the keyboards.
